Purpose
The Advent Spirituality Center Purpose statement was crafted in 1999 when the Center was formed. These purposes continue to guide the work and ministry of the Advent Center today.
- To nurture Christian spirituality
in a Baptist setting, drawing resources from various faith traditions
and offering hospitality to all who search for a growing life in God. |
- To provide resources for spiritual
formation |
- To develop an appropriate rule of
life for Christians in a modern world |
- To address the need for a practical
spirituality which interweaves contemplation and action.
